The Summer Conservatory is a foundation-building course which approximates a full term of our Conservatory Program. Classes include Acting Technique, Improvisation, Scene Study, Shakespeare, Movement, and Voice & Speech. The program begins with an orientation and ends with a presentation of contemporary and classical scene work. We find the growth demonstrated by the end of the ten weeks palpable, deeply encouraging and an affirmation of our mission. Offered in the summer only, this is a ten-week, 20-hour-per-week intensive.

Admission Information
Admission to the Summer Conservatory is by entrance interview. Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
Applicant must submit the following:

3. A $35 non-refundable application fee (payable to The Art of Acting Studio )

Every summer the Art of Acting Studio brings students from New York for a Business of Acting Intensive headed by Ron Burrus that introduces these actors to Los Angeles. Students take classes in acting for camera and audition technique, and participate in many master classes taught by industry professionals. The culmination of this program is an industry showcase.

**This program is only offered to students who have completed two years of full time training either in Los Angeles at the Art of Acting Studio or Two years in the NYU BFA Program, Evening Conservatory, or 3 Year Conservatory at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting of New York City.**
