The Art of Directing Lab is a 5 week, 20-hour per week intensive is designed for the actor who desires a greater understanding of the craft of directing. Geared for both stage and the camera, students will gain knowledge in directing-based text analysis, staging, lighting design, sound design, costume design, and artistic communication. Led by Managing Artistic Director Don K. Williams and Master Teacher and director of over 300 episodes of network television Philip Charles Mackenzie, this intensive will give the well-trained actor the skills needed to expand their career.  Space is limited to 12.

Admission to the Art of Directing Lab is by interview. Applicants must be 18 years of age or older.

  3. A $40 non-refundable application fee (payable to the Art of Acting Studio)

Student visas are not available for this program at this time.
