In all programs at the Art of Acting Studio, from the future professional conservatory to seasonal workshops, students receive a level of instruction that is unparalleled. The Studio’s world-class faculty teaches in all programs, and class sizes are always limited. In addition to training, all students can participate in a myriad of extracurricular activities, including poetry readings, guest lectures, jazz concerts, and classical music concerts, affirming the Studio’s mantra that “Growth as an actor and growth as a human being are synonymous.”

Workshops

Each season, part-time workshops are offered for the actor with a busy schedule. Programs range from introductory courses that build a foundation of skills to advanced master classes for the more experienced actor.

Teen Programs

The Art of Acting Studio’s teen program is designed to give young actors quality actor-training taught by the same faculty as Conservatory and advanced workshops. Students will learn core acting elements that provide foundation for a responsible actor.

Summer Programs

Every summer the Art of Acting Studio brings students from New York for a Business of Acting Intensive headed by Ron Burrus that introduces these actors to Los Angeles. Students take classes in acting for camera and audition technique, and participate master classes taught by industry professionals. The culmination of this program is a showcase.
